Members are obliged to fulfill all associated rights and responsibilities, including regular payment of membership fees to cover club expenses. Detailed information is available here.

To resign from the club for any reason, such as relocation, new hobbies, or health issues, members must notify the club. Cancellations are processed at the start of the next quarter, provided one month’s notice is given, with deadlines on February 28, May 31, August 31, and November 30.

The process for cancellation is straightforward and can be conducted in various informal ways, including verbally, via WhatsApp, phone, or SMS to a club executive. The essential requirement is a clear intention to cancel.

While we value long-term membership, we recognize the right of members to resign under certain circumstances.

Regarding direct debits and fee collection, members must inform the club of any bank account changes to prevent chargeback fees of approximately €9 due to failed transactions. Failure due to insufficient funds should be communicated before scheduled debit dates on January 10, April 10, July 10, and October 10, to find a solution and avoid additional costs.

Members are encouraged to ensure adequate funds are available for the membership fee (up to 70 EUR, based on membership status) at the start of each quarter and communicate any issues in advance.

As much as we want to have the leisure activities stay fun all the way, it is inevitable that we have to implement a little system in order to avoid chaos. At the moment, using a certain app to manage our bookings is still the most efficient way to make the most out of your membership in this club. Here are the guidance on using the app:

TakeActive-app Booking Instructions:

Our club uses the “takeactive” app for member playing time scheduling, also available as a web version.

  1. Install the “takeactive” app or visit the website.
  2. Create an account with basic details—email, name, and mobile number. No sensitive information is required.
  3. Confirm your email through the verification message sent by takeactive.
  4. Log in using your email and password.
  5. Find our club, “VfB Kiefholz,” and request membership.
  6. Wait for club approval, usually within a few hours.
  7. After approval, use the app or website to book available game/training slots.
  8. Booking slots open every Monday at 7 p.m. Act quickly, especially for high-demand Tuesday slots.
  9. There’s a waitlist feature; enable notifications for updates.
  10. Additional information: Assistance is available for non-smartphone users, and app notifications are crucial. Various slots become available on different days. Color codes indicate availability: grey (not open yet), green (open), yellow (waitlist), red (booked with cancellations allowed).

  • Assistance is available for those without internet or smartphones.
  • The app is currently in German, but usability is straightforward with basic German.
  • Certain slots open on specific days, with color codes denoting availability.
