About Us

Established in 2004, VfB Kiefholz e.V. is now a badminton-oriented non-profit sport club that caters to both recreational and competitive enthusiasts. Only starting in 2019, did we manage to gather a small -but diverse- group of badminton enthusiasts, united with a shared vision for a club that transcends boundaries. Recognizing the need for a platform that nurtures talent while instilling values of discipline and resilience, we laid the foundation for what would become a distinguished institution in the German badminton landscape. In less that 5 years, we are standing in the league with staggering number of 7 (seven) league teams competing across various divisions in Berlin/Brandenburg, our club prides itself on its international orientation, boasting a almost 500 members from over 55 countries, fostering a sense of camaraderie and contributing to cultural exchange. Rooted in the principles of excellence, sportsmanship, and community, our badminton sport club stands as the second-largest in Germany, embracing diversity and cosmopolitan values. As we embark on this journey to introduce our esteemed club, tracing its evolution from inception to the present day, our commitment to respect and equality remains at the forefront.

Recognizing the diverse linguistic backgrounds of our members, we have adopted English as our primary lingua franca.

Beyond the courts, our commitment to respect and equality takes center stage. We recognize the transformative power of sports in shaping lives, and as a diverse and cosmopolitan club, we actively engage in outreach programs, school partnerships, and community events that reflect our dedication to these values.
